This program will make me more imformed.
Since I have registered for a few accounts of these social sites, I will be a customer now. I won't be able to have as much time for books as before probably.
It would have help me more if there were more open lab hours.
I will join another program, but will only do the exercises that are most immediately useful to my.

Week 9 Ex. 22 ebooks
The sjlibrary's ebooks site is getting more popular. I receive phone calls at Info Desk from remote users inquiring about details sometimes.
Gutenberg Porject appears to include world classics. I located classics in Chinese characters that are downloadbale.
World ebook Fair is easier to search and find results by my experiences. It gives variant spelling for Chinese classics, for example.
It's fun to visit or revisit all the books that we have heard of on line!

Week 9 Ex. 21 Podcast
Many podcasts in the categories of "News" and "Science and Nature" are intelligent and well received. Like "Science Friday" (http://www.sciencefriday.com/audio/scifriaudio.xml) may be used in classroom. Its RSS feed is frequent and valuable.
Some of "The Most Recently Added Podcasts" are less substantial. Like this new one, titled "The Wedding Planning Audiocast," is a bit surrealistic, talking about a wedding involving: Producer, director, the artist, the eye of the beholder, etc. http://feeds.feedburner.com/libsyn/gUNn.
The category of "Books and Poetry" is certainly welcome by readers an libraries. I was entranced listening to this podcast (but there is no RSS):

It's amazing that the featured videos are watched by millions of viewers all over the world at the same time. The Star Trek Cribs have Views of 2,555,116. The Channels are making people view even more of the same popular one.

Very interesting -- Chick lit, Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston, and One Man's Bible by Gao Xingjian, Nobel Laureate, both are shared by 100 or so members.
Joan Didion's play, A Year of Magical Thinking is shared by 1339; I am suprised by its popularity since it's a play, but it is a deep book.
Harold Mcgee's On Food and Cooking, a classic, is shared by 400+ members.

Week 8 Ex. 18 Zoho Writer-Flyer
I tried to save a flyer document and export it in pdf. When it is published on my blog, it is not the same. It looks like Zoho has problem with the graphics in my document for the flyer.
